CheapBooks™ makes no effort to record any sort of personal information from its users at this time. Our use of technologies such as cookies is strictly limited to improving the performance of the user experience by selecting dataservers that are geographically close to each user.

How We Use Cookies
Each visitor may be sent 1 or more cookies containing an estimated geographic location. This location is narrowed down to the state or country region level. The technology is only used by approximately 60% of our visitors. The technology we license is not know to be accurate.

Each visitor, upon entering the site, will be checked for geographic location and mapped to the nearest known cluster of computers we offer. We currently offer computer clusters in 6 major parts of the United States and a few minor geographic areas. We also perform the same geolocation check for media files such as images used on the site, in some cases.

We have no record of how many people may have received a cookie or who may receive a cookie. We do not share any of the information we have with any other site.

How We Use Email Addresses
We do not request or record email addresses from any of our users. We do not send out any email to any users unless they contact us with a customer support question which requires a reply. If you have received an email that claims to be from us, which is not in response to a customer support question, then it was not sent by us. We are aware of malicious email spammers who may be using our email addresses to send out unsolicited spam.
