ISBN Numbers
The ISBN number is located either on the back of the book, near the bar code, or it may also be found on the "title" page of the book, near the publisher information. This applies to most books published after 1970.
By ISBN-10
The best way to receive price quotes for a book is to search using the 10 digit version of an ISBN number. All 10 digit ISBN numbers can be converted to a 13 digit ISBN number, with a 978 prefix.
By ISBN-13
When searching using the 13 digit version of an ISBN number, the number is converted into its 10 digit equivalant. If no 10 digit version exists, the search is redirected to one of our partner's sites.
By Title
Search for a title without including the author name or edition number. CheapBooks will show all the editions, grouped by author, sorted by ISBN number.
Searching for Multiple ISBN's
Use our Bulk Search feature (on our Advanced Search page) to enter as many as 10 ISBN's. Simply cut & paste some text and our system will grab the first 10 ISBN numbers it finds in the text. It will then display any matching books.
Online Catalog Only
We only have an online catalog. We do not have a printed catalog at this time.
Review Price Quotes
Although you may visit a seller's site without viewing the detailed price quotes, you may review prices from all sellers including Used, New, eBooks, and Rental pricing all on one page, by entering or selecting an item's ISBN/SKU.

Review Seller Listing Details
Review the information on the seller's site to ensure the item is what you are expecting. There is no standard listing practice for items on any web site.
Place Order or Add to Cart at Seller's Site
Use the seller web site's order transaction system to place your order direct from the seller. The order is then either shipped directly from their warehouse, or in the case of a marketplace site, shipped from an independent bookstore or individual.
Receive Confirmation Email from Seller
The seller who processes your transaction should send you a confirmation email.
Credit Card Charges
Your credit card charge will reflect the name of the vendor who processed your order (not CheapBooks Inc). This information is not shared with CheapBooks Inc.
CheapBooks.com Does Not Process Your Order
CheapBooks.com is a price quoting service. We do not process your order; each order is processed direct with the listed vendor. The vendors do not share your transaction information with us, your identity, or any personal information.
